Parks
Cottonwood County Parks Department operates and maintains nine parks in Cottonwood County. Each park offers its own unique character. We offer overnight camping at two county parks. Talcot Lake County Park has 64 camper sites available by reservation only as well as designated tenting sites for those who want to "rough it". Plus, South Dutch Charley Park has camper sites and tenting available on a first come first serve basis for the camper that would like to have a more primitive camping experience.
The Parks Department provides an appropriate level of maintenance service for each parks' intended use. It is also responsible for the management of the parks resources, collection of fees and camping fees, reserving camping facilities and enforcement of park rules.
