Human Resources

The Human Resource Department of Cottonwood County is responsible for a variety of personnel management functions, such as:

• All aspects of employment from recruitment to termination
• Employee benefit programs
• Maintaining personnel records
• Position classification
• Grievance and disciplinary actions
• Collective bargaining agreements
• Employee and labor relations
• Wellness

The Human Resources staff are also responsible for other county functions, such as:

• Agendas and minutes of the Board of Commissioner's meetings
• Working with department heads concerning goals, objectives, and policies of the board
• Liability and property claims
