Building & Grounds Worker
Status: Full-Time
Job Description:
This position, under general supervision of the County Coordinator, will perform general building and grounds maintenance and repair of county buildings to include the Courthouse, Bus Barn, Public Health, Family Services, and the 10th Street Office. See full job description below.
Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.27 per hour, dependent upon qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in building and grounds maintenance and repair or any equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. A 2nd Class Engineer Grade C license or greater, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, is required. Applicant must also possess a valid State of Minnesota driver's license.

Solid Waste Technician
Status: Full-Time
Job Description:
This position, under general supervision, performs various work activities in support of the County's Solid Waste Management Program. This individual will assist in the operation and overseeing of the landfill facility, including equipment, buildings and surrounding areas. See full job description below.
Salary Range: $17.64 per hour or dependent upon qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of experience in solid waste operations or any equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Possession of a valid State of Minnesota Class B commercial driver's license. After hire, will be required to obtain MPCA landfill operator certification, MPCA household hazardous waste licensure, and MnDOT certification to transport household hazardous waste materials as well as the ability to obtain any other required licenses.

Dispatcher/Jailer
Status: Part-Time
Job Description:

Deputy County Recorder
Status: Full-Time
Job Description:
This position, under limited supervision, will be responsible for issuing driver's licenses and all vital records as well as providing technical support to the County Recorder by receiving, recording and filing deeds and other related documents.
Salary Range: $16.80 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent AND two years of staff support experience or any equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Possession of a valid State of Minnesota driver's license. Must be able to pass a BCA background check.
